Why is buying a refurbished metal tube laser a smart choice?
Let's assume that you need a laser for stamp production, or engraving advertising items, carving precise details from plywood, 2-layer plastics, plexiglass, you want to engrave glass, anodized aluminum, you want to engrave photos into various materials and similar more demanding work.
If you want to make the highest reputation with customers right from the start of your business, you want to provide the highest possible engraving quality, and you can only achieve this with a high-quality RF metal tube. The glass tube has technical limitations, so the engraving quality is worse (see the article The difference between glass and metal tubes).
If you start a laser engraving business with a glass tube, you will discourage many more demanding (mostly solvent) customers, because today customers know what quality can be achieved with a laser and do not accept any poor-quality work. You will then be left with speculators who push the price down and you will have to sell your work cheaper to sell your quality.
If you create such an image for yourself, then even if after some time you earn enough money and buy a better quality laser, such a damaged reputation is difficult to repair.
Since new lasers with RF metal tubes are inaccessible and too expensive for many beginners, many entrepreneurs decide to buy a laser with a glass tube and thus degrade their business right from the start.
But there is another solution: Refurbished lasers with RF metal tubes are also sold on the market for the same or even lower price than new Chinese lasers with glass tubes.
The problem is that people who do not understand technical details are afraid to invest in a refurbished machine because they do not know how long it will last and what if it breaks down, who will repair it for them.
Therefore, if investing in a refurbished laser is to be a wise choice, the refurbished laser must meet the following criteria:
1, Brand and type of laser: It must be a well-known prestigious brand, for which you can find many reviews not only at home but also abroad. The most prestigious manufacturers of lasers with RF metal tubes are from the USA and Europe.
2, Quality of the remanufacturing and what parts were used in the remanufacturing: It is best if the laser is professionally remanufactured by an authorized distributor and only original parts were used for the remanufacturing
3, Warranty: Only buy a laser with a warranty and preferably with the longest possible warranty on the tube, because this is the most expensive part
4, Service and spare parts: Buy a laser that has professional and fast service and that the replacement spare parts are for at least 5 years.
If a refurbished laser meets all of these criteria, then you don't have to be afraid to buy such a laser and you can be sure that it will earn you a lot of money and will take the quality of your engraving business to the highest level.
Our company also sells refurbished lasers, and we are aware of these criteria and consistently meet them.
We have been selling lasers for more than 20 years, so we have many customers who sell their used lasers and buy new ones. We buy and refurbish older lasers, but mostly only EPILOG, SEI and GCC brands, because we have original spare parts available for these brands.
We mainly buy lasers that we have sold and serviced, so we have detailed information about their service history.
If you compare, for example, an Epilog and a Chinese laser, you can see at first glance the difference in the quality of production and processing of parts, in accuracy and in design. Thanks to the accuracy of processing, even 12-year-old Epilog lasers are more accurate than new Chinese lasers. This is evident if you want to precisely align the laser beam. Some Chinese lasers have an inaccurately welded frame, making precise adjustment of the optical path completely impossible. Especially if they are lasers with a larger working area. With Epilog, you have the prospect that the laser will retain its accuracy for another 10 years.
We change the laser tubes in all lasers and sell them to new customers with a minimum 1 to 2 year warranty. All parts that are replaced during the overhaul are original and new. We completely clean and align the laser and guarantee that the engraving quality is the same as with a new laser.
We give a minimum 6 month to 1 year warranty on the laser itself.
We provide our customers with professional warranty and post-warranty service. We have strong technical support directly from the manufacturers. So you don't have to worry that if something goes wrong, we won't be able to help you. We also only refurbish those types of lasers for which the manufacturer guarantees that spare parts will be available for at least 5 years.
